It was an ideal race for him to have a run before he goes over. They are mad keen to have a horse to run in their own race (the Mulryans in the Ballymore) at Cheltenham and thankfully we might have fallen on one,. It's been the plan since Galway and we just picked out a couple of races to fit in. Hopefully it will be onwards and upwards from here, as long as there is racing. He jumps very well. We might as well be running around for a few quid as running around for nothing. He's a nice horse to have. Mark said he'll probably get three miles in time so the trip of the Cheltenham race won't be an inconvenience anyway, I wouldn't think.

It’s great to come back and show what he showed us at Galway. He’s a progressive type of horse and his ideal trip is probably further than two (miles). We’ll find out a bit more the next day when he runs in a winners’ race and see what level of ability he’s at. The ground was softer at Galway and his jumping really kept him in the race today. He was going as fast as he could down the back but when he came to the last there his stamina came into play. Sean and Bernardine (Mulryan) sponsor the Ballymore Novice Hurdle at Cheltenham and they would love to have a runner in it. Whether he’s good enough for that we’ll have to find out in the meantime.

He's a nice horse. He was a bit weak last year. We gave him his first run in the unraced bumper at the Punchestown festival and he ran very well to be second and followed up there after that,. He's strengthened up since then and had a couple of schooling hurdles before he ran in bumpers so it was always going to be a help to him today. You need to know you job going around here. Mark gave him a lovely trouble free ride, no complications, and kept him out of trouble. I was hopeful that he might progress. It's probably not the ideal place to start a horse off over hurdles, in the company he was in, but I thought a bit of him and Sean and Bernardine (Mulryan) like to have a runner or two in Galway with a chance. He's the best young horse I've had in quite a while. He might get us somewhere bigger and better. Everyone thinks there is nowhere better than Galway but there is!. We've just thought about today after Punchestown and we'll make a plan after that. He might want to go to Listowel. He likes that meeting too and there is a novice there. We'll let the horse tell us.

He's a nice horse and he had a lovely run here first time so we were hopeful if he could reproduce that it might be good enough today,. He has a great attitude and stays really well. He's had a couple of spins round in schooling hurdles and he jumps well so he's ready to go jumping whenever. He likes a bit of good ground. The owners like to have runners at the summer meetings so he might go to Galway for a hurdle. He's a nice type of horse to have, he has a good pedigree and you wouldn't know what he'd do. He's a big staying type.
