Dont Cross Tina disappointed last time and trainer Seamus Fahey was at a loss to find a
reason for it. However she was back to her Limerick form on this occasion, getting the
better of Black Cat Crossing inside the final furlong. Fahey suggested, "she obviously
likes a bit of soft ground and she'll go for a winners of one or maybe a handicap now. Her
owner, Aidan Sexton will breed from her eventually."
Ballydoyle cast-off Black Cat Crossing justified his new owners expenditure of 6,000 guineas
and they can rightly expect to pick up a race with this 3.1 million dollar yearling. One
would imagine better ground will help his cause.
Sutherland Belle might not be the easiest to win with but she continues to perform up to
scratch. Articilitis improved on what she had achieved to date and her heart seems to be in
the right place.
Dawn Assault was the eye-catcher, coming home better than most.
