The going description was changed to 'Soft' following this race which was run at a good pace.

A well judged ride from Robbie Dunne on Enter The Indian here. The winner moved through to lead after two out and stayed on well for a comfortable eight length win. According to trainer Aidan Howard, Enter The Indian will revert to the Flat next. A winner on officially Good ground at Navan last, Howard did report "he is only 15.2 hands high but loves soft ground, jumps and gallops well." The winner is capable of winning more races.

Takendo is without a win in 12 starts but has shown sound bits of form in similar races. He never looked like winning today but appears to stay well and should win from his current mark.

Premier Hero races prominently and looked to be travelling quite strongly entering the straight but, once headed by the winner, kept on at the same pace. He has won just once from 18 runs (from a mark of 86) and now races from a career high mark of 101 but can pick up another handicap.

Dark Smile, Quarryfield Lass, Blaze Trailer, and Shanballa each ran sound races while the well backed favourite Imaalhall parted company with his rider at the third.

Non-Runners were Stage Right (stone bruise) and the three reserves.
