Following the race, Julia Brooke’s representative reported that Weapon Of Choice (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the soft ground and would prefer a faster surface, he also reported that the gelding had a breathing problem.
Barry Murtagh reported that Elixer (IRE), which was pulled up, was unsuited by the soft ground and would prefer a faster surface.
Ross Chapman reported that Porto Du Sud (FR), unplaced, ran in snatches and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding during routine testing failed to reveal any abnormalities.
