Permission was given for Buford (GB) to go early to post and to be mounted in the chute.
Lednikov (GB) ran yesterday, 26 April 2022, at Ayr and finished seventh.
Having been examined by the Veterinary Officer, the gelding was deemed fit to race.
The winner Lednikov (GB) appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Ayr on 26 April 2022 where the gelding finished seventh of seven runners beaten 12 lengths.
The Stewards noted the explanation given by Ivan Furtado that the gelding was better suited to the step up in trip to 1m4f from 1m2f on this occasion.
Lednikov (GB) was routine tested.
Following the race, Andrew Mullen reported that Lightning Attack (GB), placed second, slipped on the bend turning into the home straight.
