Permission was given for Emily's Eclipse (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference approaching 3 furlongs out, involving Khinjani (GB), placed fourth, ridden by Ross Coakley and Violeta (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Graham Lee.
Coakley was cautioned for careless riding as he shifted left-handed on his mount, when insufficiently clear of Violeta (IRE), causing Lee to take a check.
Approaching 2 furlongs out, EMILY’S ECLIPSE, placed fifth, edged slightly left-handed as a weakening Kittykarma (IRE), unplaced, moved marginally right-handed, causing the rider of Kittykarma (IRE) to take a slight check, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of EMILY’S ECLIPSE.
Following the race, Ross Coakley reported that Khinjani (GB), placed fourth, hung right-handed.
