Jody said he never thought he was going to get there until after the last. I'd say they probably went pretty fast out in front and stopped. We weren't sure about the soft ground but obviously he handled it and he's a horse that needs two mile-six plus. He's not a very fluent jumper of either hurdles or fences and he was snatching at his hurdles today but at least he gets over them. Over fences, he's terrible!. He's in again at Ballinrobe on Monday because we thought he wouldn't get in here. I'll have a chat with the owners to see if they want to go there, or else we'll freshen him up. The horses are running very well and that's four winners so far this month.

Kelly reported that the ease in the ground and what he felt was a lesser race may have helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form
