NO STRINGS made it two wins from two starts on the sand and ran away with this, despite missing the break. The winner is a smart sort and according to winning trainer Dermot Weld "loves this surface and will run here again in another handicap in a few weeks time."

BADGER OR BUST ran a sound race and, although still a maiden, can win from a similar mark in due course.

DIVINITUS was a little outpaced at halfway but stayed on for a well held third. He has claims in a similar handicap.

FLIGHT OF THE HAWK was a short head behind the winner at Listowel last September but never looked like winning here while THE HILLARIES dropped her rider on the way to post but was not good enough and may find it difficult to win from her current mark of 73.

Course and distance winner OUNOOI was a 33/1 winner here last October but looks badly handicapped.
