Permission was given for Lalania (GB) to go to post early and to be mounted in the chute.
The winner, Lalania (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newmarket on 23 June 2022, where the filly finished sixth of seven runners, beaten by 10¾ lengths.
It was noted that, William Stone could offer no explanation, except that Lalania (GB) may have appreciated being able to dominate, on this occasion.
The performance of Kodiac Sign (IRE), which started favourite and finished fifth, was considered.
The representative of Sir Michael Stoute offered no explanation for the colt's performance, other than Kodiac Sign (IRE) may have found today’s good to firm ground too fast on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post race examination of the colt, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
