Permission was given for The Princes Poet (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Stewards wished to hold an enquiry into the running and riding of Higher Law (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Hollie Doyle, from approaching 2 furlongs out to inside the final furlong, but were unable to do so as Doyle had left the course.
They adjourned their enquiry to a later date.
An enquiry was held to consider interference turning in involving My Kind Of Girl (FR), placed fifth, ridden by Jack Doughty and the winner, Gidwa (IRE), ridden by Hector Crouch.
Being a 7Ib Claiming Apprentice, Doughty was accompanied in the enquiry by a senior rider.
Doughty was cautioned for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift right-handed taking Gidwa (IRE) slightly off its intended line.
An enquiry was held to consider interference on the run to the line involving Bernard Spierpoint (GB), placed second, ridden by Jason Watson and Mikka (GB), placed third, ridden by Joanna Mason.
Watson was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to lug left-handed, without sufficient correction, resulting in Mason having to take a check.
Following the race, Joanna Mason reported that Mikka (GB), placed third, was slowly away, ran too free and suffered interference on the run to the line.
