An enquiry was held to consider interference approximately one furlong out when Tangramm (GB), placed third, ridden by Ryan Tate, interfered with Fitzrovia (GB), placed sixth, ridden by Pat Cosgrave.
Ryan Tate was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his horse to drift left without correction, causing Pat Cosgrave to take a check aboard Fitzrovia (GB).
An enquiry was held to consider why Lucinda Egerton was running Orobas here at Nottingham on going described as Soft, Good to Soft (in places), having declared the gelding a non-runner at Ayr on 29 July 2019 on ground with the same official description.
The trainers representative reported that in his opinion, the ground at Nottingham on this occasion was more consistent than at Ayr and was therefore happy for Orobas to take his chance.
His explanation was noted.
