CHASE (CLASS 5) The winner, Red Inca (GB), appeared to show an improvement in form compared with its previous run at Taunton on 15 March 2021 where the gelding finished eighth of ten runners, beaten by 47 lengths.
Alan Phillips’ explanation that Red Inca (GB) was unsuited by the Soft ground on its comeback run at Taunton after a lengthy lay-off and appeared to be better suited to the Good ground here today, was noted.
The gelding was routine tested.
