Permission was given for Without Delay (IRE) to go to post early.
On the winning line, Mr Coco Bean (USA), placed third, lugged right onto Mekbat (FR), placed fourth, which caused a knock-on effect to Without Delay (IRE), placed fifth and Thunderhill (IRE), placed sixth, which resulted in Twin Appeal (IRE), unplaced, being checked on the rail.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of any horse.
The performance of Chinese Spirit (IRE), which finished unplaced, was considered.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination during routine testing found the gelding to have an irregular heartbeat.
Following the race, Laura Coughlan reported that Twin Appeal (IRE), unplaced, was denied a clear run approximately 1½ furlongs out.
