Permission was given for Sepahi (GB) to go early to post.
The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Queen Of Burgundy (GB), which had never previously been placed, was considered.
Christine Dunnett was interviewed.
Her comments that Queen Of Burgundy (GB) had strengthened up for its first run for the yard 41 days ago at Newmarket and the filly had also been better suited by the track and drop down in trip to 6 furlongs on this occasion were noted.
Queen Of Burgundy (GB) was routine tested.
The performance of Sepahi (GB), which finished sixth, beaten by 9¼ lengths, was considered.
The explanation from Henry Spiller’s representative that the filly would prefer a flatter track was noted.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Sepahi (GB) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
