The apparent improvement in form of the winner, Stellar Magic (IRE), compared with its previous run at Ludlow on 6 December 2023, where the gelding was pulled up, was considered.
Billy Abrahamian’s’ explanation that the gelding had benefited from the application of blinkers and a positive ride, was noted.
Stellar Magic (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Lady Kk (IRE), placed fourth, lost its right fore shoe.
