It was noted that Bruce Lynn’s stirrup leather had to be replaced at the start.
After inspecting the broken equipment post-race, the Stewards considered that the failure could not have been predicted and with the leather being in a serviceable condition prior, they therefore took no further action.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that Imperial Measure (IRE), unplaced, had bled from the nose.
Lizzie Quinlan reported that Scots Gold (IRE), which was pulled up, had a respiratory issue.
