Permission was given for Koola Buala (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and to go early to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong involving Corndavon Lad (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Zak Wheatley; Shine On Brendan (IRE), placed third, ridden by Amie Waugh and Koola Buala (IRE), placed sixth, ridden by Elle-May Croot.
Wheatley was suspended for 4 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left for a considerable distance without correction carrying Shine On Brendan (IRE) off its intended line, which in turn caused Koola Buala (IRE) to be caught on heels and significantly checked.
Following the race, Amie Waugh, the rider of Shine On Brendan (IRE), placed third, and Elle-May Croot, the rider of Koola Buala (IRE), placed sixth, both reported that their mounts suffered interference inside the final furlong.
