Permission was given for Manorah (IRE) to wear a hood in the parade ring.
The winner, Manorah (IRE), appeared to show improved form, compared with its previous run at Chepstow on 3 May 2019 where the filly finished thirteenth of sixteen, beaten by 20 lengths.
The explanation from Roger Varian’s representative that the filly was more settled in the preliminaries for wearing a hood in the parade ring, and was better suited to a flatter track was noted.
Manorah (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Ben Curtis reported that Lady Lizzy (GB), placed fifth, hung left in the final furlong and Franny Norton reported that Patchouli (GB), placed fourth, was denied a clear run approaching 2 furlongs out.
