The winner, Snow Berry (IRE), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Leicester on 29 June 2023 where the mare finished last of eight, beaten by 15½ lengths.
It was noted that the Michael Appleby representative could offer no explanation for the mare’s improved form other than that it may not have faced the first-time application of a visor in its last run.
Snow Berry (IRE) was routine tested.
Following the race, Royston Ffrench reported that Enchanted Night (GB), placed third, reared as the stalls opened and was slowly away as a result.
