Enquiries were held to consider two incidents of interference in this race.
In the first incident approximately 1½ furlongs out, the winner, Thomas Lanfiere (FR), ridden by Hayley Turner, interfered with Confrerie (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Pat Cosgrave.
Turner was cautioned for careless riding for allowing her mount to drift left-handed without timely and sufficient correction, causing Confrerie (IRE) to be taken off its intended line.
In the second incident shortly thereafter, Lady Susie (IRE), placed seventh, ridden by Ray Dawson, interfered with Soaring Spirits (IRE), placed fifth, ridden by Sophie Ralston.
The interference was found to be accidental as Lady Susie (IRE) had ducked sharply left- handed taking Soaring Spirits (IRE) off its intended line.
Charlie Bennett, the rider of Harlequin Rose (IRE), placed second, was also present in the enquiry but it was found that his mount was racing ahead and was clear of Lady Susie (IRE) and had not been part of the second incident.
Following the race, the Veterinary Officer reported that CONFREFIE (IRE), placed fourth, was lame on its left-fore leg.
