An enquiry was held to consider the placings of the second and third placed horses in this race after interference inside the final furlong involving Due Consideration (GB), placed second, ridden by Connor Murtagh, the winner, Laudable (GB), ridden by David Nolan and Normandy Vista (IRE), placed third, ridden by P J McDonald.
The Stewards considered that the interference was accidental and had not improved Due Consideration (GB)’s placing as Laudable (GB) shifted right-handed, causing Normandy Vista (IRE) to be momentarily short of room as Due Consideration (GB) stepped marginally left-handed.
