Permission was given for Emerald City (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving the winner Emerald City (GB), ridden by Ross Coakley and Sassy Glory (IRE), placed fourth, ridden by Rhys Elliott.
Being a 7lb claimer, Elliott was accompanied by a senior jockey.
Sean Dylan Bowen, the rider of Dibble Dabble (GB), unplaced, was also present in the enquiry but having heard the evidence of the other riders, it was found that he was not involved in the incident.
Coakley was suspended for 2 days for careless riding as he allowed his mount to drift left-handed towards the rail when insufficiently clear, causing Sassy Glory (IRE) to become short of room and for Elliott to have to take a check and to lose his position.
Following the race, Dougie Costello reported that Edwardtheninth (GB), placed fifth, was never travelling; Rhys Elliott reported that Sassy Glory (IRE), placed fourth, suffered interference rounding the first bend.
