A novice hurdle for four years old and upwards which at entry are rated 106 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 107-116)
Weights - 4-y-o 10st 12lbs 5-y-o and up 11st 2lbs
Penalties - Performances before 27th August - for every 1lb above the rating of 106 1lb extra On or after 27th August - for each hurdle race won 5lb extra
Riders - Confined to Professional Riders under I.N.H.S. Rules who have not lost the right to claim the allowance under Rule 52 (iii). Allowances - (which are not cumulative, up to and including 30th August) Riders who have not ridden the winners of 25 *races allowed..........4lb Those who have not ridden the winners of 40 *races allowed..........2lb No allowance under Rule 52 (iii) may be claimed *Including races under any N.H. Rules or Rules of Racing The Riders of the first three horses will receive €250, €150 and €100 respectively from the I.N.H.S. Committee Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 116 or less
