Philip McBride was fined £140 as the record of vaccinations in the passport of Mallet Head (GB) did not comply with the Rules of Racing.
On the advice of the Veterinary Officer, the Stewards ordered that Mallet Head (GB) should be withdrawn.

Following the race, Josephine Gordon reported that Biz Markee (IRE), placed third, hung badly left- handed on the bend.
