Following the race, Darragh Keenan reported that Shining Armor (GB), unplaced, missed the break and was therefore unable to get a prominent position and was latterly denied a clear run turning into the home straight; the gelding was routine tested.
Paul Hanagan reported that Coolagh Magic (GB), which started second favourite and finished unplaced, was never travelling; the Veterinary Officer reported that a post- race examination of the colt failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Ben Curtis reported that Sandridge Lad (IRE), unplaced, ran too freely.
