The winner, River Frost (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Perth on 11 August 2020 where the gelding was pulled up on the Soft ground.
Ben Haslam's explanation that the gelding jumped more fluently on the quicker ground at Sedgefield was noted.
