Dougie Costello, the rider of Mcgivern (IRE), placed second, appeared to ease the filly one stride before the line, being beaten by a head.
Costello explained that he felt his right knee lock out which caused him to momentarily ease off riding.
The Stewards were satisfied that this momentary pause did not have any bearing on his position and his explanation was noted.
Following the race, Pat Dobbs reported that Day Trader (IRE), placed sixth, ran too free.
