He was highly tried, he ran in the Guineas and led until two furlongs out in the Jersey. He was sent to England and came back a train-wreck. It's taken a long time to get him back right. He was only half the horse last year, and has come back right this year. He may go to the Curragh on Guineas weekend. We'll see how he is in the morning. Niall Moran, trainer

The Stewards informed John M. Oxx, trainer that Aimhirgin Lass, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. The Stewards informed Damian Joseph English, trainer that Tribal Path, would have to be recertified before being declared to run from stalls again. W.M. Lordan, rider of Mzuri trained by Ms. Sheila Lavery, reported to the Clerk of Scales that his mount got upset in stalls, then in running hung to the left and was eased close to the finish. The Stewards requested a report from Niall Moran, trainer as to the apparent improvement in form of Dont Bother Me, placed first, as compared with its recent run at Sligo. Niall Moran reported that his charge recently ran at Sligo where he carried 10 stone 9lbs in heavy ground from the outside draw in a 6 furlong race on a tight track. Today the better ground conditions and his known liking for the track contributed to the improved run. Having considered the evidence the Stewards noted the content of the report.

An extended handicap for three yrs old and upwards (95 = 9st 10lb)
Weights - Top weight in the original handicap; shall not be less than 9st 10lb
Penalties - (after calculation of the handicap) A winner shall carry 5lb extra; for each race won. Any horse rated above 95 shall initially be treated as having that rating and the highest weight allotted shall be 9st 10lb. Subsequently, the excess over 95 in any rating shall be added to the weight allotted to that horse. (For the purpose of this note, any three year old rated above 95 shall have the applicable weight for age allowance then prevailing deducted from the horse's rating prior to the original calculation of the handicap)
