Permission was given for Crossley Tender (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring only.
The sponsorship in relation to ARTHUR’S REUBEN, trained by Jennie Candlish, did not comply with the Sponsorship Code of Conduct.
Candlish was warned as to her responsibility to ensure that the correct sponsorship is carried.
Having reviewed recordings of the false start, the Starters were satisfied that no riders should be reported for contravening the starting procedures.
An enquiry was held to consider why a plastic bin was present approaching the last fence in the home straight.
The Clerk of the Course was interviewed.
His explanation that the bin was carried out onto the course due to strong winds during the race, was noted.
Following the race, Tom O’Brien reported that Copperfacejack (IRE), which was pulled up, made a bad mistake at the second last fence and Richard Johnson reported that Oscar Ceremony (IRE), which started joint second favourite and was pulled up, was never travelling; the gelding was routine tested.
