Permission was given for Democracy Dilemma (IRE) to go early to post wearing a red hood and for Rhythm N Hooves (GB) to wear a red hood to post.
The Starter reported that Rumstar (GB) was the subject of a third criteria failure.
Jonathan Portman was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
As it was the second occasion within the previous 12 months that Rumstar (GB) had been reported, a further report within the same period would mean the gelding would be prevented from having a stalls test for 6 months.
The Starter reported that Democracy Dilemma (IRE) was unruly in the stalls and was withdrawn at 3:48pm.
Robert Cowell was informed that the gelding could not run until the day after passing a stalls test.
Approaching 4 furlongs out, Rhythm N Hooves (GB), unplaced, hung quickly left-handed away from Desperate Hero (GB), placed sixth, and across the running of King's Lynn (GB), unplaced, which had to be checked and in turn made contact with the hindquarters of Silky Wilkie (IRE), placed second, causing that runner to become unbalanced, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that King's Lynn (GB), unplaced, suffered interference approaching 4 furlongs out and Frederick Larson reported that Baldomero (IRE), placed third, hung right-handed under pressure.
