S.D. Torrens, rider of Double Pink, trained by Daniel G. Murphy, reported to the Clerk of the Scales that his mount took a stumble after the last down the back
The Raceday Stewards requested a report from Henry de Bromhead, trainer, as to the apparent improvement in form of Lucky Zebo (GB), placed first, as compared to its previous run when finishing eight of eleven runners at Leopardstown on the 28th of December when beaten 51 lengths. The trainers Authorised Representative, Coleman Comerford, reported that his charge didn't stay three miles the last day and a drop in trip today helped to bring about the apparent improvement in form. Having considered the report the Raceday Stewards noted the explanation given
