An enquiry was held to consider interference rounding the home bend, when the winner, Ebro River (IRE), ridden by Ben Curtis, interfered with Hellomydarlin (IRE), ridden by Clifford Lee, placed seventh.
Having heard the evidence, the Stewards considered the interference to be accidental as Ebro River (IRE) committed for a legitimate gap, at the same time Hellomydarlin (IRE) drifted slightly back in towards the rail, which resulted in the two bumping.
