Permission was given for ARTIC MOUNTAIN (IRE) to wear a red hood to post and for Macs Dilemma (IRE) to be mounted in the chute and go early to post, wearing a red hood.
Macs Dilemma (IRE) unseated Gina Mangan when mounting on the track.
Having been checked by the Doctor and Veterinary Surgeon at the start, both were deemed fit to race.
The winner, Law Supreme (FR), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Newcastle on 01 March 2024 where the gelding finished ninth of twelve, beaten 10 ¾ lengths.
Ian William’s explanation that Law Supreme (FR) appreciated the ground on this occasion, officially described as Soft was noted.
Law Supreme (FR) was routine tested.
Following the race, Rossa Ryan reported that ARTIC MOUNTAIN (IRE), placed third, hung left-handed under pressure; Ian Williams reported that Trip To Rome (IRE), unplaced, was unsuited by the Going which was officially described as Soft, and would prefer a quicker surface.
