Permission was given for Platitude (GB) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring, be mounted on the chute and go early to post, for Soghan (IRE) to wear a hood in the Parade Ring and for Mukha Magic (GB) to go early to post.
The winner, Seinesational (GB), appeared to show improved form compared with its previous run at Goodwood on 29 July 2020 where the gelding finished twelfth of fifteen, beaten by 10 ½ lengths.
William Knight’s explanation that the gelding settled better on this occasion and was better suited to the faster early pace was noted.
Seinesational (GB) was routine tested.
