The Stewards enquired into an incident on the turn before two out involving The Very Man, ridden by L.P

Dempsey, Kasakh Noir (FR), ridden by L.A. McKenna, and Jimmy Two Times, ridden by Mr D.G. Lavery, where it appeared Kashakh Noir (FR) ran short of room on the inner and checked. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards found that the incident was caused by accidental interference and took no further action.

A hurdle for five years old and upwards which at entry are rated 120 or less (also open to horses which at entry are rated 121-130)
Weights - 11st 2lbs; Horses that have not run three times over hurdles and/or do not have a published handicap hurdle rating may enter and run at the discretion of the handicapper provided their performances are rated 130 or less
Penalties - Performances before 18th March - for every 1lb above the rating of 120 1lb extra On or after 18th March - for each hurdle race won 5lb extra
