he's a next year horse and is still a big baby. He jumped well and had a nice point to point run. He's wasn't really a bumper horse but goes on any ground.

The Stewards received a report from Mr. P.L. Malone, Turf Club Clerk of the Scales, regarding the fact that K.M. Donoghue, rider of Positive Approach, weighed in at 1.7 lbs overweight. Evidence was heard from the rider concerned, who accepted that this was the case. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that rider was in breach of Rule 231 and having considered his excellent record in this regard, they severely cautioned him.
A hurdle race for five yrs old and upwards, maidens at starting which are EBF eligible and have not run as a two or three yr old under any Rules of Racing
