Franny Norton reported the gelding was never travelling and Ivan Furtado reported that Tom Mix (GB) was unsuited by the undulations of the track on this occasion.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination, during routine testing, revealed Tom Mix (GB) to be slightly lame on its right fore.
Following the race, Theodore Ladd reported that Lockdown Lass (GB), placed second, hung left.
Tom Marquand reported that Mehmo (IRE), placed fourth, hung right.
