The Stewards interviewed G.P. Brouder, rider,following a report from the clerk of scales, Mr. L. Walsh, to the effect that G.P. Brouder had attempted to weigh out for this race without a crotch strap fitted to his body protector
Evidence was heard from the rider concerned. Having considered the evidence, the Stewards were satisfied that G.P. Brouder was in breach of Rule 198 (v) and Regulation 10, and having considered his previous record in this regard suspended him for 7 racedays
