Permission was given for Mimi Kakushi (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.

Mimi Kakushi (IRE), unseated Connor Planas at the Start.

Having been checked by the Doctor, Planas was deemed fit to race.

An enquiry was held to consider the placings in this race after interference from turning into the home straight, involving the winner, Kaaress (IRE), ridden by Harry Russell and Primetime (GB), placed second, ridden by Kieran O’Neill.

Taylor Fisher the rider of Salsa Dancer (GB), placed fourth and Callum Hutchinson the rider of Brandaisy (GB), unplaced, were also present in the enquiry, but were found to have had no involvement in the interference.

The Stewards considered that the interference had improved Kaaress (IRE)’s placing as Russell allowed his mount to drift right-handed, without timely correction, for a considerable amount of time, carrying Primetime (GB), significantly off its intended line, intimidating the colt and bumping Primetime (GB) on several occasions.

With the finishing distance between the two runners being a diminishing head and the interference being sustained for some time, the Stewards revised the placings as follows: First - Primetime (GB), Second – Kaaress (IRE), Third – American Tale (GB), Fourth – Salsa Dancer (GB).

Russell was suspended for 2 days for careless riding.

A furlong from the line, Callum Hutchinson the rider of Brandaisy (GB), unplaced, dropped his left rein resulting in the filly becoming very unbalanced, and giving a bump to Salsa Dancer (GB), placed fourth, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.

Following the race, Connor Planas reported that Mimi Kakushi (IRE), placed fifth, hung left-handed in the home straight; and Joey Haynes reported that Rust E Boy (IRE), unplaced, hung right-handed.
