Permission was given for Thunder Legend (IRE) to wear a red hood to the start.
Approaching the final furlong, Liamarty Dreams (GB), placed third, shifted right-handed before being quickly corrected by it’s rider, carrying Zero Carbon (FR), placed fourth, off its intended line, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Liamarty Dreams (GB).
Inside final furlong, the winner, Whitebeam (GB), lugged left-handed on a couple of occasions despite its rider’s best efforts to correct the filly giving a light bump to Thunder Legend (IRE), placed second, but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Whitebeam (GB).
