Permission was given for Arctic Victory (IRE) to be led early to the start and Elvrika (IRE) to go early to post.
Elvrika wore earplugs which were removed at the start and Strawberri (GB) wore a red hood to the start.
The performance of Elvrika (IRE), which started favourite and finished fifth of six runners, was considered.
The representative of William Haggas could offer no explanation for the filly’s performance other than the rider reported she ran flat.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Elvrika, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Nicola Currie reported that Arctic Victory (IRE), placed last of six, ran too free and stopped quickly and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the filly failed to reveal any abnormalities.
