Leaving the stalls, Muscika (GB), unplaced, jumped right-handed, bumping Flag Flying (GB), unplaced, before a short distance later, SHE’S CENTIMENTAL (USA), unplaced, lugged right-handed, moving Crimson Angel (GB), placed second, onto Muscika (GB), which was badly tightened for room when forced onto the heels of Flag Flying (GB), but after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved.
Following the race, Mark Winn reported that Muscika (GB), unplaced, jumped awkwardly from the stalls and suffered interference shortly after; Jason Hart reported that The Waiting Game (GB), placed fourth, was repeatedly denied clear running from approaching the 1 furlong marker and Kieran O’Neill reported that SHE’S CENTIMENTAL (USA), unplaced, was denied a clear run approaching and passing the 1 furlong marker.
