Permission was given for Tone The Barone (GB) to be mounted on the chute and for The Defiant (GB) to go early to post wearing a red hood.
The raceday privilege request for Kiwano (FR), trained by David Simcock, to have a late load was not submitted.
Simcock was warned as to his responsibility to ensure that all raceday privilege requests are submitted by 1pm on the day before racing.
An enquiry was held into the start of this race, in which, the winner, Live In The Dream (IRE), appeared to gain an advantage.
The Starters and Sean Kirrane, the rider of Live In The Dream (IRE), were interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
It was found that the gelding, drawn 3, had anticipated the start and accelerated the gate at the same moment as the race had been started, thereby enabling to it break quickly and gain a length.
Being satisfied that the start was effected, no further action was taken and the placings remained unaltered.
Following the race, David Probert reported that Navello (GB), unplaced, was hampered by Tone The Barone (GB) sustaining an injury.
