Permission was given for Nacho (IRE), Lucky Beggar (IRE) and Leodis Dream (IRE) to go early to post and for Jack The Truth (IRE) to wear a red hood to post.
Leaving the stalls Albegone (GB), unplaced, jumped slightly right-handed bumping with Second Collection (GB), placed third, but after viewing a recording of the incident it was found that no riding offence was involved.
An enquiry was held to consider interference entering the first bend involving Phoenix Star (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Silvestre De Sousa and Lucky Beggar (IRE), unplaced, ridden by Laura Coughlan.
Andrew Breslin, the rider of Nacho (IRE), unplaced, was also interviewed but found not to have been involved in the incident.
De Sousa was cautioned for careless riding as he had allowed his mount to move left-handed towards the rail before being fully clear of Lucky Beggar (IRE), causing Coughlan to steady after being briefly tightened up for racing room.
An enquiry was held to consider the unruly behaviour of Second Collection (GB), which was unable to be mounted and had to be led to the start riderless.
The representative of Tony Carroll was interviewed and shown recordings of the incident.
As the mare had also been unruly on a number of previous occasions within in the last 12 months, Tony Carroll was informed that any future similar behaviour from Second Collection (GB) may result in the mare being reported to the Head Office of the British Horseracing Authority.
Following the race; Barry McHugh reported that Powerallied (IRE), placed eighth, lost its action inside the final furlong.
The Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Powerallied (IRE), failed to reveal any abnormalities.
