ASIAN ROYALE put right a series of placings when upped in trip at Navan a fortnight ago, and readily defied a 9lb rise in the ratings over an extra quarter mile. A test of stamina obviously suits him well and, after making smooth headway to join the leaders three out, he easily drew clear in the straight with the minimum of fuss. A further large hike in the handicap is on the way but he looks a big, progressive sort.

Limestream, successful over this trip at Naas earlier this year, again relished a test of stamina staying on best from off the pace although the eventual deficit bore no relation to the winners superiority.

Hill Port and Bill's Folly were both up with the pace throughout but could only keep on one paced in the straight, while Indifference Curve, available at 10/1 in the morning, moved up smoothly to dispute the lead four out but weakened came under pressure when the winner made his move on the home turn.

Rossbeigh was bidding for a hat-trick but the extra half mile and a 16lb rise in the ratings for those victories proved too much as he felt the heat approaching two out. Sher One Moor, off the course since taking a three mile maiden at Bellewstown last summer, was prominent throughout and is bound to come on from this run.
