Rossbeigh is certainly paying his way for connections and he recorded his fourth win in six starts under a mandatory six-pound penalty from his latest win at Wexford on Monday.
Pat Hughes charge tracked the leaders and went to the front heading for four out and that was a lead he never relinquished in the hands of Ruby Walsh.
He jumped well in the main and still looks to have a bit in hand of the handicapper after finishing five-lengths in front of the consistent Billy To Jack.
The latter, who had good form behind Physco at Leopardstown, again failed to pick up from the last two and a drop back to two-mile-two-furlongs may see this one returning to winning ways. Settled in to get the trip by Paul Carberry he plugged away ahead of his rivals without closing on the winner but was four and a half lengths clear of top weight Motaraqeb.
Those three had it between them from the third last but in the end finished well strung out and Motaraqeb put up a good performance and he may be capable of adding to his two wins over this trip.
Mysherarmour was nine lengths back but certainly ran a career best and if he can improve again from this he should be capable of scoring and possibly something around three-miles may see him at him best.
Powerberry was somewhat disappointing that he failed to make the frame and he faded quickly while Flamenco Prince is struggling to make an impression off what would appear to be a favourable mark.
Edge Og was reported to have burst a blood vessel by his trainer.
