The Clerk of the Scales reported that Stephen Mulqueen, the rider of THAT’S YOUR LOTTIE, placed second, trained by Katie Scott, had weighed in at 10 stone 2Ibs having weighed out at 10 stone 0Ibs.
The rider, the trainer and the Clerk of the Scales were interviewed.
Mulqueen was suspended for 3 days for weighing in at 2Ibs overweight.
The performance of Court Jurado (IRE), which started co second-favourite and finished unplaced, was considered.
It was noted that Donald McCain could offer no explanation for the gelding’s performance on this occasion and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of Court Jurado (IRE) failed to reveal any abnormalities.
Following the race, Sam Coltherd reported that LES’S LEGACY, which started co second-favourite and was pulled up, lost its action and the Veterinary Officer reported that a post-race examination of the gelding, during routine testing, failed to reveal any abnormalities.
