Inside the 2 furlong marker Bailar Contigo (IRE), placed second, shifted marginally right-handed causing Coloane (IRE), placed fourth, to be momentarily short of room.
However, after viewing a recording of the incident, it was found that no riding offence was involved and that it had not improved the placing of Bailar Contigo (IRE).
Following the race, Benoit de la Sayette reported that Butterfly Effect (IRE), unplaced, was slowly away.
