The Stewards enquired into possible interference in the closing stages of this race involving Collision Course, ridden by W.J. Lee, placed third and On The Go Again, ridden by G.F. Carroll, placed first, where it appeared interference may have occured. Evidence was heard from the riders concerned. Having viewed the recording of the race and considered the evidence, the Stewards were of the opinion that any interference was accidental in nature and took no further action.
