Permission was given for The Good Biscuit (GB) to wear a red hood to the start.
An enquiry was held to consider interference inside the final furlong when the winner, Sergeant Wilko (IRE), ridden by Rossa Ryan, interfered with Mayo Neighs (IRE), placed third, ridden by James Doyle.
The interference was found to be accidental in that Sergeant Wilko (IRE) shifted quickly left-handed despite Ryan’s best efforts to correct the colt causing Doyle to have to take a check.
Following the race, Callum Hutchinson reported that Topanga (GB), unplaced, was outpaced in the early stages of the race.
